Pari is an audio engineer with experience in recording, audio editing, music mixing, mastering, and post-production. Her field of expertise includes sound design and editing for film, editing/mastering for podcasts, and music mixing/mastering for a wide range of genres, including experimental music and film scores.

In 2019, Pari completed her Masters at New York University in Music Technology. In addition, she completed her studies as a Tonmeister, a specialized program focused on the art of recording and classical training in acoustics. 

During her graduate and post-graduate term, Pari conducted experiments and research work in immersive/3D audio recording and reproduction. This includes her prototype model of the first "Tetra-Speaker," a 3D speaker used specifically for the replication of single-point sound sources based on Michael Gerzon's original tetrahedral experiment. The model was introduced and published for her Master thesis. A short study of the speaker was also introduced at the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Convention in New York, 2018. The study was published as an AES E-Brief in the same year.

  • Manage music technology facilities/studios; looking after studio bookings; making sure facilities are operating properly; address any issues reported about the facilities; coordinate with professors on equipment and/or studio needs for their classes; provide technical assistance if need be

  • Manage student employees; approving their timesheets; checking their work hours, specifically supervise student monitors, administrative assistants, and studio engineers; advise on studio policies and procedures

  • Manage studio interns, scheduling their shifts, checking in with studio engineers monthly on interns’ performance

  • Oversee and manage department inventory, checking that equipment are being properly checked out and returned, checking in on broken or missing equipment, including needed equipment to order
